AI tutor for spoken English
At the doctor’s, at the bank, on calls, you go quiet speak up.
Vorika is an AI English tutor app for Russian speakers. You talk to it out loud. It catches your mistakes, shows the right way to say it and explains why, in Russian.

Sound familiar?
I understand, but I can’t speak
If you understand English but can’t put two words together in real life, you most likely just lack speaking practice. In Vorika you can rehearse a conversation in advance, repeat tricky phrases a few times and calmly work through your mistakes. All of it with no one else around. Just you and Vorika the parrot.

How a session works
No schedule. Open the app and talk.
A session lasts as long as you have time. Five minutes a day is usually enough.
Pick a situation from your week
A team call, a doctor’s appointment, a call to the bank, a talk with your landlord. The same conversations that are waiting for you in the next few days.
Speak out loud, however it comes out
Vorika understands speech with an accent, pauses and long searches for the right word. You can restart a sentence or stay silent for ten seconds.
See what went wrong
After every line, Vorika shows the corrected version and the reason for the mistake. Words you don’t know can be added to your own flashcards.
Inside the app
This is what a session looks like
Real Vorika screens, from a short scene to a spoken answer. The interface is in Russian because the app is made for Russian speakers.
Vocabulary practice
Flashcards built from your conversations
In the evening you review what tripped you up during the day. Five minutes on the metro and five in a queue cover the 10–15 minutes of daily practice you need.
- Only your vocabulary. A card appears when you realise a word in a conversation is new to you.
- Spaced repetition. Easy words come back rarely, hard ones often.
- The whole phrase. The back of the card shows the exact line where you made the mistake.
- Back into speech. The tutor will suggest the structure you’ve learned in your next dialogue.

Comparison
Vorika vs. a human tutor
If you already read work email and watch series in English, you don’t need a course from scratch. You need someone to talk to every day.
| Human tutor | Vorika | |
|---|---|---|
| Cost of practice | about $25 per lesson | From $8 a month, unlimited conversations |
| When to practise | On a schedule agreed a week ahead | At 6 a.m., at 1 a.m., between two calls |
| Mistakes | Making mistakes in front of a person feels awkward | Nobody hears you, and you can repeat a phrase ten times |
| Material | A textbook and general topics | Your own work and everyday situations |
| What a tutor does better | Personal motivation, goal setting, deep dives into tricky grammar | We don’t replace a teacher. We cover daily practice between lessons |
Who it’s for
If you recognize yourself in these words, Vorika is for you
I can read without any problems and understand almost all spoken English. But putting my own thoughts into words has always been a problem.
Every session is a conversation out loud. You answer by voice, and the tutor reviews your answer.
Here’s the speech in my head, and here’s, damn, what came out when I started talking.
After every line, Vorika shows the corrected version and why it was wrong.
My vocabulary is B2 or higher, I read more or less fluently… but I have no spoken English at all.
No textbook studying here, just talking. Five minutes a day is enough.
The product manager is trying to explain something to me in English, and I understand something, but I’m not sure what exactly.
You can rehearse a team call in advance, even ten times.
And then, when they get down to the actual discussion, it’ll be ‘Let me speak from my heart.’
Only Vorika the parrot hears your mistakes. You can repeat a phrase until it sticks.
In the end they turned me down, saying my English didn’t meet their requirements.
You can practise your interview answers out loud in advance, as many times as you like.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is Vorika?
An app with an AI tutor for spoken English, made for Russian speakers. You talk to it by voice about everyday and work topics, and the tutor corrects your mistakes, explains them and turns them into flashcards for review. Access is by subscription: for a week, a month, three months or a year.
What language is the app in?
The interface and the tutor’s explanations are in Russian; the conversations themselves are in English. Vorika is built for Russian speakers who are learning English.
I’m starting from zero. Will it work?
You can start from zero, even if you don’t know a single word. Each session begins with vocabulary: Vorika gives you five to seven new words, shows the pronunciation and translation, and you try saying them out loud straight away. Then the words turn into short phrases, and the phrases into a conversation. If you already read work email in English, you’ll simply get through the beginner levels faster.
Why pay when voice ChatGPT is free?
ChatGPT will keep a conversation going, but it won’t lead it, it lets mistakes slide, and you have to explain your level again every time. Vorika leads the scenario, stops at the mistake, explains why in Russian, and a few days later brings that structure back into a dialogue.
I have a strong accent. Will Vorika understand me?
Yes. Vorika understands speech with an accent, pauses and long searches for the right word. You can restart a sentence or stay silent for ten seconds.
Do I have to speak, or can I type?
Both modes are available: typing and voice. Russian speakers learning English usually find speaking the hardest skill to develop. That’s exactly what we train.
I’m shy about speaking, even alone
That’s exactly what Vorika is for. Nobody hears or judges you, and you can repeat a phrase until it sticks. Only Vorika the parrot will hear your mistakes.
I don’t have time to study
Five minutes is enough: between calls, on the metro, while your child naps. There’s no schedule; a session lasts as long as you have.
Will I be charged after the trial?
The trial lasts 7 days. A day before it ends, we’ll send you an email and a push notification with the plan you chose and the amount due. If you cancel before the trial ends, you won’t pay anything. You can cancel at any time.

An AI English tutor for speaking practice
Vorika is an AI English tutor for people who understand English but can’t speak it. You talk out loud in situations from your own week: a team call, a doctor’s appointment, a call to the bank, a chat with your landlord.
The AI tutor leads the conversation in English and explains in Russian. After every line, you see the corrected version and the reason for the mistake. Words you don’t know can be added to your own flashcards, and the tutor will suggest them in your next dialogue.
You can start from zero. Vorika understands speech with an accent and pauses, there’s no schedule, and five minutes a day is enough. It doesn’t replace a human teacher; it gives you what lessons usually lack: daily spoken English practice with no audience.
